This a nursery is a gem! They carry a lot of hard to find stock and unique natives. They've done a lot of work to source low-water plants that are pretty. For example, they have several variety of penstemon including Chelan. but perhaps what I like best is they keep up the stock all season so even flowers done blooming are there to buy and enjoy next year. Also they carry Columbia Lewisia if you ever want to try a hard to find. Michelle is also very knowledgeable if you have any questions and can design Spokanescapes.

I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle and visiting Tanager this past weekend. Michelle has her plants in categories which I thought was a cool idea to visualize an area of your yard (sunny vs shady) or if you are looking for shrubs or native perennials, etc. She was knowledgeable, friendly and had a variety of plants. I walked out with fireweed, goldenrod and Helianthella uniflora. Will definitely be back.
